Here are some standard questions prospective student athletes should ask coaches who are recruiting them. Make sure you have all the valid information before making your decision.

 

  1. What events do you see me competing in?
  2. What are your workouts like?
  3. How would you describe your coaching style?
  4. How much time does practice and travel take up?
  5. Will I be able to be in meets as a Freshman?
  6. How many years is it taking most athletes to graduate?
  7. What is practice like?
  8. How many people are on your roster?
  9. Will I be an impact person on your team?
  10. Where would I fit in the depth chart?
  11. What types of academic support do you offer athletes?
    1. Do you set up study groups?
    2. Are there tutors available if needed?
    3. Are there set times for team/group study?
